Bill Adams
Bill is a true Vermont Original. Born on the 4th of July, he has lived at Adams Farm in Wilmington, Vermont his entire life. Ask him when he started working at Adams Farm, he will reply "at an early age." Bill's been working on the farm ever since and is the current owner of the Farm. Bill says the best part of working at Adams Farm is he gets to do what he wants to, but the work never gets done. On occasion you may find Bill driving your sleigh in the winter or as the tractor driver of your wagon ride in the summer. Look for him on your visit; he's usually the one smoking the pipe.

Blake Spooner
Blake is from Heartwellville, VT. This Goat Wrangler was born on April 28. He is great with all the animals, not just the goats. Be sure to ask him any questions you might have about the animals as he is very knowledgeable and enjoys helping our customers, since February of 2005. If you see Blake walking around and his hair is standing straight up, be sure not to mention anything about having touched an electrified fence, he is a little sensitive about it. Ken doesn't mind talking about it at all.

Jill Adams Mancivalano
Jill is part of the fifth generation of Adamses here at Adams Farm. She was born here, grew up here, spent most of her 20's away from the farm in Boston and California and is now back managing this thriving business. In Boston she studied at Butera School of Art. Prior to having her two beautiful girls she had a tile painting studio in what is now the Quilt and Fiber Arts Loft. Visit the Farm Store and Quilt and Fiber Arts Loft at the farm to get a sense of her style, they are both filled to the brim with color, warmth, art, good taste, and just the right touch of Jill's humor. Jill is very proud of the staff she has put together to serve her customers and is excited to be able to share her families working farm with the 40,000 plus visitors each year.

Little Man, Vermont Morgan Horse
Little Man is actually a very local horse with an interesting background. He was born on June 30, 1999 at Greg and Brenda Adams' Mountain View Farm, just up the road from Adams Farm. Little Man's DNA certification qualifies him as a direct descendant of the 1st Morgan horse "figure" owned by Justin Morgan in the early 1800's and feels as though he is honoring his ancestors as an ambassador to the Morgan." Little Man has been at Adams Farm since the summer of 2002. He gives pony and sleigh rides and does an occasional demonstration now and then. Little Man says the best part of working at Adams Farm is "I just LOVE to play with the other horses and show off my beautiful lines!!"

Kristen Spooner
Kristen is, you guessed it, Blake's sister! Kristen came to us first in the summer of 2002. Her positions on the farm include, but certainly are not limited to . . . watching Jill's girls, pony rides, working with the indoor and outdoor animals, farm store, and we especially love it when she helps with special events. Kristen applied to Adams Farm because she has "always been an outdoor kind of girl. I love animals and to work on a busy farm like this took everything I like to do and made it a fun place to work. No day is ever the same!" Kristen's smile is unmatched and her birthday is November 24.

Tessa Adams
Tessa is from Wilmington, Vermont. When Tessa was born on July 18, she became the first of the Adams' 6th generation to work on the farm. She's worked here as long as she was able to work or is that ride a horse? Tessa is a Sleigh Driver in the winter, an Afternoon Tea person in the summer, a Farm Store clerk year round and anything else she may be needed to do. Tessa enjoys working at Adams Farm because "I get to do things I like, for example, working with horses and meeting new people... It's nice to be with family and get paid for it."

Brutus, Merino Ram
Brutus is from Morehouse Merino Farm in Red Hook, New York. His birthday is March 10, 1998. Brutus came to Adams Farm in the spring of 2003 to be the Merino Stud because of all the good looking sheep. He loves breeding season and all the pasture and ewes he gets to frolic about with. His breed originated in Spain. Did you know Merino sheep used to out number Vermonters 6 to 1 in the 1840's? Being the finest wool in the world, Merino fiber became an international standard, called "bloodcount." Brutus is introducing a stouter confirmation, finer crimp to the wool in a more classic Delanie attribute at Adams Farm.
